Recovery of Dark Circles Remedies Treatment

You can expect to be able to read or watch television within 2–3 days after the treatment. Most feel ready to go out in public after 7–10 days. We recommend that one should not wear makeup until 7-10 days after surgery. If you wear contact lenses, you will be required to wait for two weeks. After the two week period of recovery is over, one can assume their normal daily routines.

Your physician will give you specific instructions on how to prepare for the dark circles removal surgery. These instructions will include guidelines on eating, drinking, smoking, taking or avoiding vitamins, iron tablets and any other forms of medications. If you develop a cold or an infection of any kind, especially a skin infection, your surgery may have to be postponed. Also, while you are making preparations, be sure to arrange for someone to drive you home after the procedure and, if needed, to help you at home for a day or two. You can control any discomfort with the pain medication prescribed by your physician. If you feel any severe pain, it is important that you call your physician immediately. It is normal to feel a bit anxious or depressed in the days or weeks following treatment while you heal. If you suffer from dark circles and have tried over the counter “anti-dark circle” options and are unhappy with the results, Dark Circle Remedies Treatment could be right for you. If you would like to obtain more information regarding this procedure, please contact our office for a free consultation visit.

Preparation H cream

A hemorrhoid treatment that may tighten skin and decrease the appearance of eye bags.

Creams containing vitamins C, K, E, or retinol

Dermatologists also recommend propping extra pillows beneath your head while you sleep to prevent fluid accumulation under your eyes, rinsing congested nasal passages with a saline solution, and applying peach-colored concealers to hide bluish-colored circles. Be aware that scented cosmetics, and those containing glycolic acid or salicylic acid, may exacerbate dark circles.

Laser treatment

Some causes of dark under-eye circles do not require medical treatment. For example, stress and fatigue can cause dark under-eye circles, as can smoking. If it is determined that one of these factors has caused your dark under-eye circles, Dr. may simply suggest that you get some rest or quit smoking, and see if the problem corrects itself.
However, a treatable cause of dark under-eye circles is hyper pigmentation. Hyper pigmentation is a darkening of the skin and can often occur in the under-eye area, especially in those with darker skin tones. Even if your skin is healthy and in good condition, hyper pigmentation may be causing your dark under-eye circles. Several of our laser and light treatment procedures can correct dark under-eye circles caused by hyper pigmentation, although we tend to recommend an Intense Pulsed Light treatment, as it can be specifically adjusted to treat hyper pigmentation.

Removal of Dark Circles plastic surgery

This is a plastic surgery operation that is done to remove dark circles caused by the arcus marginalis and in patients with puffy eyes or eye bags. A laser beam is used to make a small incision on the inside pink part of the lower eyelid called the conjunctiva. The arcus marginalis which is tethering the lower eyelid skin and causing the dark circle is released, and the removed fat is then placed back inside beneath the arcus marginalis to plump the depression which was causing the dark circle. This is the most effective laser method for removal of dark circles under the eyes.

Dark Circles and Puffy Eye Treatments

There are many creams on the market which claim to help with this problem.
Personally I have found them extremely expensive and for the most very few of them have
even felt like they made a difference.  The only one I had any success with contained
an ingredient called "retinol" and although I don't know what that is, it did help.
The only thing that stopped me using this as a regular treatment was the price point
was around $40 for a very small bottle that lasted me just over a week.

De-Puffing Pens

Sephora, a leading beauty product purveyor, carries several exclusive portable eye cream
products that rely on natural ingredients to fight eye-area puffiness and signs of fatigue. These products come in tubes that can be carried in the purse or stashed in your desk or glovebox for an instant eye-area pick-me-up on the go. Sephora describles Skyn's Icelandic Relief Pen as a cult classic. Designed to fight puffiness and dark circles, the Relief Pen is 100 percent vegetarian, cruelty free and allergy tested and contains no petroleum or mineral oils. First Aid Beauty's On the Go Defense Kit and  Laurent Top Secrets Flash Touch Wake-Up Eyecare also avoid parabens, sulfates, and potentially irritating dyes and fragrances, and both come in pens with roll-on tip applicators, which help disperse accumulated fluids and leave eyes tight and bright looking.

Eye Wrinkle Creams

Age adds to the puffy appearance of eyes, as the fragile thin skin around the eyes loses its elasticity and begins to show lines and wrinkles in addition to morning or allergy-related swelling. Beauty Insiders, a cosmetic information resource featuring independent product reviews, advises daily use of a multipurpose eye cream to nourish eye skin and reduce fine lines and wrinkles, which in turn diminishes the negative appearance of puffy eyes.
While all of Beauty Insider's top-rated eye creams drew only "fair" reviews for diminishing puffiness, many excelled at reducing wrinkles, fine lines and dark circles, thus improving the overall appearance of puffy eyes. These products included Eyelastin by Dermagevity Skin Care, Eyevive by Dermestetics, Teamine Eye Complex by Revision Skincare and RoC Retinol Correxion Deep Wrinkle Night Cream.

Reduce Puffy Eyes

Reduce your stress to help you to sleep more. threaten your life, but also make your blood vessels appear more prominent
Eat plenty of fruits and vegetables, especially cabbage, spinach, and other leafy green vegetables. Take a daily vitamin supplement if necessary. Get adequate fluids to improve circulation.

Reduce salt intake
Excess salt causes the body to retain water in unusual places, and this can result in puffiness under the eyes. Too much salt can also impair your circulation and cause the blood vessels under the skin toappear bluer and bluer.

Reduce Puffy Eyes

How to reduce

Get adequate vitamins that assist sleep. A lack of sleep, coupled with poor vitamin absorption tends to reduce adrenal function. The less adrenal function you have, the less B6 you tend to absorb. The less B6 you absorb, the less your adrenal glands function and you end up in a vicious circle. Sleep, regular vitamins (where needed), good calcium/magnesium support in the form of eating a lot of greens (which are higher in
calcium and magnesium than dairy products are) and a good mineral supplement restores adrenal function.

Does smoking effect eye bags?

Smoking can cause dark circles around eyes first linked smoking and periorbital wrinkling. Later, the term smoker's face was coined by Model and he mentioned dark circles under the eyes. Various other studies have implicated smoking as a cause of facial aging, though not specifically mentioning dark circles.
Smoking aggravates dark circles under eyes. The skin damage that can be promoted by smoking includes a thinning of skin due to interference with blood flow to the skin. This thinning can lead to a increased visibility of the orbicularis oculi muscle under the skin of the lower eyelid which makes the dark circles look more pronounced.

What does sleep effects over the dark eye circle?

Sleeping Horizontally
It is common to have dark circles under your eyes when you haven't slept enough, but interestingly, dark circles are not a direct result of tiredness. The most common cause of dark circles under the eyes is sleeping too horizontally. When you sleep horizontally, fluid from the eyes doesn't drain properly and will rest under the eye, causing bags under the eyes and shadows.

Pale and Tired
If, after lack of sleep, your face is paler, this could be the reason for dark circles becoming apparent. The contrast of lighter skin against darker under eye circles could make them appear worse than they usually are. Also, pale, thin skin allows veins, puffiness and shadows to appear clearer underneath the eye, where skin is the most delicate.

How to avoid dark eye circle?

Does sun over-ex poser create dark eye circle?

Sun Exposure

Overexposure to sun can be harmful to the skin, especially for the delicate

skin under the eye. Sunlight increases the natural pigmentation of the skin,

which makes dark circles you have appear even darker.

Sun Exposure

Limit sun exposure. Sun exposure can worsen age spots and dark under-eye circles

and could darken them. No sun exposure is best but if you must go out doors,

avoid the sun between the hours of 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. when the UV rays are the

 strongest.

How to remove dark eye circle with vitamins?

Natural Remedies that Remove Dark Circles under the eyes are fairly easy to find. Almond Oil works great, green tea bags on the eyes are a great solution as well. Remember that sleep plays a huge role in the appearance of dark circles. Some other really great ways to eliminate dark circles under the eyes are Vitamin E and Vitamin C. Diet plays a very important part in dark circle prevention so remember to include a decent amount of vegetables in your diet.

Vitamin C

Vitamin C banishes dark circles by increasing the amount of collagen in your skin, which in turn tightens and plumps. It also helps protect skin against free radicals and sun damage, which can age the skin and exacerbate dark circles. Vitamin C is found in most skin creams in the form of L-ascorbic acid, a combination of vitamins C and K. Avoid pure vitamin C because when exposed to air, it oxidizes and increases free radical damage. Vitamin C also can be found in fruits and dietary  appear darker and more prominent. Iron can be found in leafy greens, spinach and supplements.

Vitamins A and E
Vitamin A helps maintain skin health and repair any damaged tissue around the eyes, according to Beyond Jane. It's also antioxidant-rich which helps fight wrinkles, skin thinning and signs of aging. Vitamin A can be found in most skin creams, leafy greens, liver, pumpkins, eggs and some fruits. Vitamin E should be taken alongside vitamin A because it helps regulate the way the body uses it. Vitamin E also fends off free radicals and other pollution and increases circulation. Vitamin E is a common additive in skin creams and also can be found in asparagus, olives, leafy greens and some fruits

 Eat well.
Eat a healthy, balanced diet, take vitamins, and drink plenty of water. A whole host of cosmetic problems can be attributed to vitamin deficiencies. Dark circles and puffiness are often attributed to lack of vitamin K or inadequate antioxidants. Also, a deficiency in B12 (usually anemia-related) can result in dark circles.

What Causes Dark Circles Around Eyes?

Causes of Dark Eye / Under Eye Circle there are many causes for the formation of the dark circles under the eyes.

Lack of sleep
Sleep is important as it allows the skin to rest. Late night partying or working  throughout the night can cause the skin to grow wan and make the blood vessels under the eyes look more prominent.

Can you believe it?
Dark eye circles can be genetic. Certain people who have sensitive skin or prone to allergies are more prone to dark eye circles. Continuous rubbing of  the eyes can thicken and darken the skin and thus cause the formation of dark eye circles. Do not rub your eyes unnecessarily.

Poor nutrition
Watch your diet as poor or imbalanced diet would also lead to dark eye circles.

Facial Bone Structure

Depending on the shape of your eyes and bone structure, people with deep set eyes might look as if they have dark eyes circles due to light reflection.

Working long hours at the computer
With today's improved technology, it is more common that people experience computer fatigue. It also aggravates the condition of dark eye circles as people spent long hours in front of the computer doing work. Take a few minutes of vision break to protect your eyes and to reduce fatigue.

Dark Circle Still There After Restylane - What Now?

Dark circles under the eyes (raccoon eyes) are mostly due to melanin pigmentation.
Your degree of pigment is obviously genetic. Hence, many people who have this problem are of Afro-American, Caribbean, Mediterranean or Hispanic descent.

A second cause is vascular congestion. This is an area containing many, small blood vessels. In some people, these are congested, causing a somewhat purple discoloration. Rubbing the area under the eyes certainly worsens the situation. Thus, people with atopic dermatitis (eczema) often are burdened with this discoloration.

Any dermatologist can tell you that a hallmark of eczema are these "allergic shiners." Rubbing can also be precipitated  by an allergic contact dermatitis. Patch testing by your dermatologist might be able to elicit an allergy. Avoidance of that allergan would certainly help.

As we age, we lose collagen in general. This area, whose skin is thin to start off  with, suffers the most noticeably. I am not talking about laxity here, although that is true too. The thinness of the skin makes the blue-brown pigmentation under the skin look even more apparent.

What to do about this problem? Fillers are probably the best solution as far as cost and convenience. Restylane is the better choice here since it is a little less mobile and remains where it is placed better.
. As far as eye creams for this problem, there are as many of these as excuses for the Cubbies not going to the World Series.

Most of these products contain the following ingredients: Vitamin K, green tea,Vitamin C (make sure it has ferulic acid - Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology Sept 2008 - as this creates a much more stable product),licorice (yeah, that's licorice... the good tasting stuff), hydroquinone, and kojic acid.

There are, of course, other helpful ingredients.

Brands I like, in no particular order:

RevaleSkin Eye Replenishing cream
SkinCeuticals Eye Gel
Neutrogena Radiance Boost Eye Cream
Olay's Definity
Hylexin (nervous about recommending the latter because they hype their product SO

much.)

How can i remove black circles around eyes?

Apply a good Vitamin K cream. Vita-K Solution gel or Peter Thomas Roth Power K Eye

Rescue help strengthen capillary walls around the dark circles to make them less

visible.

* One should go for laser treatment only if the case is chronic. Lasers can increase

production of collagen thereby thickening skin to make dark circles less visible.

* Home remedies for dark circles can include the following:

1. Drink plenty of water to combat dehydration.

2. Wear at least SPF 30 sunscreen to prevent more sun damage.

3. Get enough sleep.

4. Leave cold teabags, cucumber or potato slices, or washcloths with ice cubes on eyes

for 15 minutes regularly.

5. Take iron supplements if anemic, but consult your doctor first.

6. Identify the allergens and avoid them. Whether it be pollen, food, whatever,

avoidance is the best solution to this. And avoid rubbing your eyes.

7.Put two spoons in the freezer. Then after 20 minutes take them out and put them

under the eyes. Leave it for a good 5 minuntes and do that every 2 days.

Introduction to Dark Eyes Circles

Periorbital dark circles (or just dark circles) are dark blemishes around the eyes. There are many causes of this symptom, including heredity and bruising.

Understanding where Dark Circles and Puffy Eyes Come From

If you understand this then you can actually work out how to counteract this

process. For many people this is hereditary which simply means if your parents
and grand
parents suffered from these, then it is likely they will come your way. It is also
simply part of an inevitable aging process and it is coming to us all.

Personally I ruled out surgery as an option although I have strongly considered it and
it is very effective if done properly. However there is always risk with any surgery
and I am simply a coward. That's when I started to look at natural remedies for my
dark circles and puffy eyes.

Essentially the part of your skin just beneath and surrounding the lower eye thins out
as we age. This thinning process then makes our eyes develop a sunken appearance and
bags start to develop. That is what is happening to you if you are starting to get or
already have dark circles under your eyes.

Dark circles under the eyes tend to age us more than wrinkles or grey hair.

Allergies are a common cause of skin discoloration under the eyes.

If an allergy is the root of your problem,

treat the allergy or remove the allergen Seasonal allergy problems such as the hay fever

can frequently be effectively treated with over-the-counter and prescription medications

For other allergies, the best course of action is usually avoidance. If your dark circles

or puffiness are constant, you may have an undetected food allergy or an allergy to a

chemical in your home or workplace. Talk to a dermatologist for help determining what

you may be allergic to. People with allergies also tend again to be deficient in B6,

folic acid and B12 on occasion. Taking a multivitamin may also help

Gluten intolerance. Another common allergy that causes dark circles is gluten intolerance

which is an allergy to wheat flour in particular. More severely, you could have celiac

disease. To test for celiac disease, have blood tests performed by your doctor.

It's important to remember that you can be gluten intolerant, and not have celiac disease

Nasal congestion. A blocked nose can result in dark circles under your eyes because the

veins that drain from your eyes to your nose are darkened and dilated.

Pigmentation irregularities. These can cause darker circles under the eyes.

Sun exposure. This can increase melanin production.

Thinning from age. Aging thins the skin, making veins and vessels more obvious as your

fat and collagen depletes over time.

Heredity. Establish whether or not this condition runs in your family, as under-eye dark

circles are believed to frequently be hereditary. This doesn’t mean that you can’t do

anything about the conditions, but you should be prepared for minimal success when

trying to get rid of them.

Your facial features. Dark circles may be as simple as shadows being thrown by your own

features. There isn't much you can do change this other than careful use of cosmetics

Discoloration of the under-eye skin affects many of us from time to time.

For others, the dark circles can persist as a long-term feature, sometimes as a result

of an illness, but often as a result of allergies, inadequate sleep, or heredity.

However, you can still minimize the appearance of dark circles under your eyes and in

some cases remove them completely.
